Version 1.2 is effective October 1, 2026 for new account enrollment and personal-license purchases. Checkout availability is shown on the VANTA OS page. These terms do not retroactively replace an earlier agreement.
VANTA OS Personal-License Refund Policy
Version 1.2 | Issued October 1, 2026
Covered purchase
Titan Forge Industries, LLC sells the VANTA OS personal, non-commercial beta license for USD $49.99 as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. This policy applies to that personal purchase. Commercial/enterprise arrangements are governed by their separately signed agreements. Applicable mandatory consumer rights remain available regardless of license type.
Seven-day voluntary refund
You may request a full refund within 168 hours (seven consecutive 24-hour periods) after payment first successfully completes. A payment still pending or subsequently failed does not begin that window. The deadline is calculated from the successful payment timestamp, not from email delivery, installation, account creation, or activation. Central Time may be shown for convenience; elapsed time is calculated using UTC so daylight-saving changes do not shorten the window.
Send the request to [email protected], preferably from your purchase/account email, and include the order reference if available. If you lost access to that inbox, contact us using another address and explain the issue so we can verify your authority through proportionate alternative evidence. Do not send full payment-card details, license keys, sign-in codes, or passwords. A request received at or before the 168-hour deadline qualifies even if we read or respond later. If our designated inbox rejects or cannot receive your request, reasonable evidence identifying the correct destination, attempted-send time, and delivery failure at or before the deadline preserves eligibility; resend the request when delivery becomes available.
Before initiating a voluntary refund, we verify that the requester is the purchaser or is authorized to act for the purchaser. An order reference, receipt, stated purchase email address, or license key alone is not sufficient authorization. We may confirm through the verified purchaser account or request proportionate alternative evidence where account access is unavailable. A timely request preserves the voluntary deadline while reasonably necessary verification is completed; verification need not finish within the 168-hour window. We will not use unreasonable verification delays to defeat a qualifying request. An unverified third-party request alone does not authorize a refund or access restriction. This process does not prevent an authorized payment-method holder from reporting an unauthorized charge or exercising payment-provider rights.
You do not need a reason. Downloading, installing, activating, or using the beta within that window does not disqualify you. There is no restocking fee, activation deduction, or processor-fee deduction from an approved full refund. We refund the amount actually paid for the covered purchase, including any tax we collected, subject to legally required adjustments. We cannot refund separate charges collected by an AI provider, bank, or other third party.
Processing and license effect
We will review a request and initiate a qualifying refund to the original payment method within five business days after receiving the request and any reasonably necessary ownership verification. For this processing period, business days are Monday through Friday excluding United States federal holidays. If a processor restriction prevents a regular refund, we will explain the issue and work toward an appropriate lawful resolution; we do not promise a bank credit before the bank processes it.
Payment-provider processing determines when the credit appears. We will not ask for another payment to process a refund. A full refund of the settled purchase total, including collected tax, ends the purchased license and its device activations. A successful partial refund, including a correction of collected tax alone, does not by itself end otherwise valid purchased access. Multiple refunds are reconciled against the entire settled total. Before agreeing to a voluntary partial refund, we will explain its amount and any separately agreed access effect; a partial credit is not consent to surrender the license. A pending refund may temporarily restrict account-dependent access while our server verifies its status. If that refund fails or is canceled and payment remains valid, the same entitlement is restored automatically when verification succeeds, subject to any other payment restriction. Contact support if an expected restoration does not occur.
Access is restricted by the beta's payment controls while a refund is pending, but a refund request alone does not restrict access. Stop using a license that has ended after refund. A refund does not authorize Titan Forge to delete your local projects or conversations; back them up independently before uninstalling.
Early permanent service shutdown
The Terms commit to maintaining the account and licensing services needed to use your purchased beta for at least 12 months after successful payment. If we permanently end that required access during the committed period without providing a reasonably equivalent means of using the purchased version at no additional license charge, we will provide a full refund of that purchase, including tax we collected, accounting for any credit already provided for the same purchase. The seven-day change-of-mind deadline does not apply to this remedy. We will notify affected purchasers and initiate the refund within five business days after the permanent cutoff and any reasonably necessary ownership verification, subject to the processor restrictions explained above. You do not have to make a change-of-mind request to qualify. The Terms also require at least 60 calendar days' advance notice of a planned permanent shutdown after your minimum service period. Other mandatory remedies remain available.
After the voluntary window
After 168 hours, change-of-mind refunds are not ordinarily offered. Contact us about duplicate or unauthorized charges, failure to deliver purchased access, or a material failure to supply the product as agreed. We will investigate and provide remedies required by law or otherwise warranted by the facts. The voluntary deadline does not shorten the minimum service commitment, statutory remedies, or an applicable payment-provider dispute deadline.
A previously refunded purchase does not guarantee acceptance of a new order. We may decline a future order before acceptance where documented purchasing patterns show abuse; this does not cancel an otherwise qualifying refund for an order we already accepted or penalize a good-faith refund, complaint, or honest review.
Payment disputes and duplicate credits
You may contact your payment provider and exercise lawful billing-error and dispute rights. Contacting us first may help resolve a problem but is not required to preserve those rights. We do not charge an automatic chargeback penalty or penalize honest reviews or good-faith complaints.
If you have already opened a dispute or received a credit, tell us so we can avoid duplicate credits. We may respond to the processor with accurate, relevant evidence of the purchase, disclosed terms, delivery, account redemption, activation, refunds, and communications. The issuer or payment provider decides the dispute under its rules; this policy does not guarantee an outcome for either party. Refunds and provider credits for the same purchase are reconciled against the amount paid; a prior credit can reduce the remaining refund for that purchase, not unrelated mandatory remedies. We will not initiate another charge without authorization. An open dispute temporarily restricts account-dependent access while our server verifies current payment-provider records; it is not proof of misconduct or a ground for permanent termination by itself. A dispute resolved in favor of valid payment restores the same account-bound entitlement automatically when verification succeeds and no other payment restriction applies, without another purchase or key redemption. Previously released devices stay released. A full refund or final payment reversal ends the associated entitlement, and a late success message does not reinstate it. Conflicting or unavailable records and historically mistaken revocations require support review; we do not promise instantaneous restoration. You can challenge a mistaken restriction through support without withdrawing a lawful dispute.
